Joy Poulard, a.k.a. Sienna Joy, is a Brooklyn-based interdisciplinary artist who’s extensive performance background directly informs her current visual work.

In college Joy immersed herself in visual art, theatre and dance while receiving her Fine Arts degree in Painting and Drawing. She has since acted in numerous stage plays, toured as a modern dancer and performance artist; has been front woman for cabaret, jazz and rock bands as Sienna Joy—-performing at The Kennedy Center, Blues Alley, and the National Cherry Blossom Festival; and working as a recording artist for The Living Theater label. Her present work returns to her visual art roots, often influenced by her experiences as a performer.
