This month, our featured artist is Teresa D. Cook. She is a talented watercolor artist who has been painting for about 7 years. She obtained a Bachelors in Fine Art from UNF in August 2012. During her last year in college, she found her true calling in watercolor. Teresa is very excited about getting the opportunity to show her work for a whole month with Hemming Plaza Jewelers.

The paintings that will be included in the show are abstract and landscapes. Of the abstracts, she has painted a series of Mini Abstracts. They were started by her love of color and how she sees the world as layers of color. This one is number 19.

The landscapes have more intense colors and capture a place in time. This painting is called Motovun From Below.
This mini 2″ x 2″ landscape was inspired by her travels overseas to Croatia. Another one of her landscapes captures a little piece of Jacksonville. This landscape is a painting created in Mayport.
